If you experience severe dissociation or Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), your mind has worked incredibly hard to protect you. Using Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Ego State therapy, we don't try to force your protective parts away. Instead, we collaboratively do internal parts work, allowing you to become the source of empowerment and healing your vulnerable past states needed.

My name is Jared Daniels, and I am the founder of Quiet Harbor Counseling. Walking into therapy can feel incredibly intimidating—especially if you have felt misunderstood by professionals in the past, or feel hesitant to trust a male therapist with your story. I hold a deep respect for that hesitation.
At Quiet Harbor, safety isn't just a word I use; it is something we actively build together through consistent, respectful, and non-judgmental action. My goal is to ensure you feel entirely seen, heard, and empowered to navigate your life on your own terms.
Advanced Clinical Leadership
Alongside my private practice, I serve as a lead therapist with clinical director responsibilities within intensive residential treatment settings. Managing complex care and assisting clinical teams at a leadership level allows me to bring advanced clinical expertise, administrative precision, and deep trauma training straight to your individual sessions.
Because of my leadership commitments during the traditional workweek, my private practice hours are intentionally designed for those who need premium, highly specialized care outside of regular business hours.

In-Person on Denton Square: I am proud to welcome local clients to our comfortable, private office space located right on the historic Denton Square. This space is intentionally designed to be a literal quiet harbor where you can step away from the daily hustle, grab a coffee nearby, and step into a room focused entirely on your healing. My office is located to the left of the staircase shown.
Telehealth Across Texas: For those who prefer the comfort of their own environment or live outside the immediate DFW area, I provide high-quality, secure virtual sessions available to anyone residing anywhere in the state of Texas.

Out-of-Pocket Rates
Individual Therapy Session: $200 per hour (50-minute clinical hour)
Payment is due at the time of service. All major credit cards and HSA/FSA cards are accepted securely through our client portal.
